Ways to work together

I work with organisations and leaders at moments of transition, friction or uncertainty.

Some situations require direct operational involvement. Others benefit from a confidential outside perspective: a space to understand what is happening, identify what is obstructing progress and decide what comes next.

My work takes two forms: operational leadership and leadership sparring.

01 — Operational leadership

For creative agencies, digital agencies and marketing departments.

I step into complex operational situations to restore clarity, stabilise relationships and create structures that allow teams to work effectively.

An engagement may begin with a difficult client relationship, rapid growth, a leadership transition or processes that no longer support the work. I assess what is happening across people, communication and delivery, then work directly with the organisation to establish a more reliable way forward.

This may be useful when

A key client relationship has become strained or is at risk.

An account requires experienced interim direction.

Growth or transition has exposed weaknesses in communication and process.

Teams are working hard, but responsibilities remain unclear.

A new client or project requires steady operational leadership.

Internal friction is beginning to affect relationships or delivery.

A period of limited internal capacity when the work still needs to be led and delivered.

The experience delivered to clients or guests no longer reflects the brand’s promise.

Scope - Account direction, client relations, account turnaround, interim leadership, new-client transitions, team development and operational structure, brand-experience alignment and operational structure.

Format - Project-based collaboration or fixed-term interim placement.

02 — Leadership sparring

For team leads, department heads and organisational decision-makers.

Leadership often requires decisions before a situation has become fully clear. Internal roles, loyalties and pressures can make it difficult to see the complete system while standing inside it.

Leadership sparring provides a grounded, confidential space to examine operational choices, understand team friction and test decisions with an independent counterpart.

I bring close observation, direct questions and an outside perspective—without imposing a predetermined formula.

We may work through

A difficult team or stakeholder dynamic.

An organisational change that requires careful navigation.

Recurring friction whose underlying cause remains unclear.

A decision with relational as well as commercial consequences.

Questions of role, responsibility or leadership alignment.

The need to restore clarity before taking action.

Scope - Strategic sounding-board sessions, structural problem-solving, leadership alignment and decision support.

Format - Monthly advisory retainer.
